I hereby apply for the position of a reporter in a media organisation. I am presently the Publisher of TRADE NEWSWIRE (www.tradenewswire.net) an international News portal founded me. I have worked with THE PUNCH Newspapers of Punch Nigeria Limited, as a journalist where I covered business sectors ranging from Maritime my main beat, to Trade and Commerce; Manufacturing; Maritime; Agriculture; Brands and Marketing; Tourism; International trade; Economy; Corporate Governance; Oil and Gas, Corporate Social Responsibility; Management and Appointment; and Labour industry of the Nigerian economy for almost four years. I wrote 1339 stories, features and analysis between August 24, 2007 when I was employed and March 3, 2011, i resigned from THE PUNCH to establish TRADE NEWSWIRE. My quality write-ups and investigative competence made me to be selected among the West African journalists who benefited from the training in Introduction to Business and Financial Reporting organised by Thomson Reuters Foundation/ The Investment Climate Facility for Africa in 2009. I am a Member, National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria; Associate Member, Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria; bagged Masters of Business Administration degree with specialization in Marketing from Lagos State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Olabisi Onabanjo University.
