I grew up in Tacoma, Washington U.S.A. It is 30 miles south of Seattle and is a port city on Puget Sound. I was a carpentry/masonry specialist in the army in the late 1980's. I was stationed in Germany from November 1986 to November 1988 in Karlsruhe but worked on a construction project in Heilbronn, Germany. I was transferred to Louisiana in November 1988 and got out of army in June 1990. I went to Washington State University and got a Bachelor of Science in Fruit & Vegetable Horticulture in 1996. I have worked in Oregon for a few years at a wholesale nursery. I am now back in the Tacoma, Washington area. Rick
