I was born in Porto Alegre, RS, Brazil. I have been living in the UK for nearly 14 years. I have a British husband and 2 British children. We are arriving in Porto Alegre on the 19th July 2014 for holiday and we are very likely to stay permanently. We are looking for jobs for me (I have a PE teaching degree from ESEF - UFRGS, but used to teach all subjects for special needs students in a main stream school in London and also Portuguese, Spanish, Italian and Latin at Colleges in Shropshire) and my husband (Civil servant with experience as analyst and Project Management - Prince II). We are also looking for a good school that would help our children to carry on speaking their first language (English) and provide a good support for them to develop their second language (Portuguese). When we arrive in Porto Alegre we will be staying with my parents in "Zona Norte". We would like to meet other People in the same situation as us that would help this transition be less traumatic.
