Exporting Pets (taking them with you) when you leave cambodia by thewhatwhats
I tried to post this here yesterday but it was moved to the USA forum for some reason. I am trying to ask these questions to the expat community in Cambodia. I want to collect as much information on this as possible and then make it available to ...
I've traveled with an animal a few times, and had the same experience with drugging them. I think it's stressful to be in such a strange environment, but most animals are resilient. If you have all the paperwork, including a recent vet exam, ... Read More

Im an expat going to live in Cambodia with my Cambodian wife. Does anyone know if I can buy a foreign national health insurance on the open marketplace?
What nationality are you and where do you live full time? If live in the US and will travel outside the US for at least 6 months of the year, there is a policy available that will cover you and your family both at home and internationally. It was ... Read More

Hi I just want to know if anyone knows any good doctors/hospitals in Phnom Penh that do not cost a lot of money. I have a 2 year old daughter with my Cambodian wife who is sick on average 1 to 2 times a month where she is feverish, sore throat and ...
Have you tried SOS? They are a little expensive by Cambodian standards, but very cheap for those of us used to paying Western prices. I had two doctor visits, a ton of blood work, urine analysis, and ultra sound, and it was about $300. In the US it ... Read More

Hi everyone, Does anyone here have some background information on the newest nonsense rules to make Norodom Blvd Tuk-Tuk free? For example: * Why have they done that? Might it have to do with the new bus service, so we can expect the same rubbish ...
I don't think it's a "new" rule. I've been here off and on since January 2012, and it's always been in place. At that time, I couldn't get a driver to go along that road for anything. Now, they do it all the time. I ... Read More

Sugar substitute stevia by Gypsyqueen115
Does anyone know where to buy Stevia here in PP? We moved from America 2 months ago to live in PP.
:top: Understood. I had very bad food poisoning twice, so I try to avoid taking any chances. It's more expensive (and probably not as much fun), but I go to the "Western" butcher, bakery, etc., here, and stick to the restaurants my local friends ... Read More

I don't think I would feel comfortable buying food on eBay. It may be fine, but I wouldn't do it. Since I'm heading home for a few weeks soon, I'll just get it there. Thanks, though! Read More

I've been looking for it, too, and haven't been able to find it. I work for a ship company and we tried to source it, but never could find a source. I'm going home to the US for a couple of weeks in May and planning to bring some back with me. In ... Read More

AmEx charges the companies for accepting the card, at a much higher rate than Visa/MasterCard, so I understand why they don't want to take it. It is mentioned in most guide books I've seen, but seems like when you call AmEx to tell them you're ... Read More
