Yellow slip from Istiqdam

Hi finally I got the yellow slip from Istiqdam! and I've just sent it to my wife for visa processing back home.

I've also been reading in here (from Indian and Pakistani nationals I think) that their agents back home are telling them that visa needs to still be activated at the MOFA and that they have to wait for it to appear before it gets processed? I thought the yellow slip was enough for visa to be issued at the Saudi embassy? Is there something that I still need to do?

Was not sure if the original yellow slip is needed or just a copy so I just sent by courier the originals instead along with my MOFA attested apostille copies of our marriage certificate and birth certificate of our son.

Just a tip to those applying for a KSA permanent family visa, after having your apostille academic credentials attested at the Saudi Embassy, have it stamped next at the Saudi Cultural Mission Office in Singapore (we don't have one in the Philippines) this process will take 2-3 weeks my experience, sometimes longer depends how fast your school replies to them.

You cannot have your apostille documents stamped at the MOFA here in KSA without this stamp (Saudi Culture) it is a must. Once you show them this, only then can they stamp (put a sticker) your apostille documents (including your marriage contract, birth certificates etc.)
