Home Internet in Sao Paulo

californiainbrazil

For home internet service in Sao Paulo, is any provider better than the others?  Vivo, Claro and Tim all seem to have similar prices for the same internet speed.  Any other major internet service providers to consider?

Vivo is faster in Rio Grande de Sul. look on your drop-down for internet connections and see who's using what provider near you.

11/24/22 @californiainbrazil.  We replaced Claro/NET with TIM Fiber and it's better, but performance in Manaus doesn't necessarily mean performance in São Paulo.

Every one of the major carriers, you will need to be pre qualified as for your domicile being on net.

In Sao Paulo it means, your choice from Vivo or Claro. Tim, only in a few scattered places.

I have both, for sake of necessity.

The smart thing to do is to combine services.

I personally hate Claro,, as everything     Carlos Slim touches turns into dog poop.  Anyone here remember CompUSA, going well for gone bankrupt under Mr Slim????

My money is on Vivo , yet even them, there are issues.

Pick your poison dude. You ain't on Verizon Cloud.
