Doctor who can prescribe S2 medication in Iloilo

Post new topic

keiths121

I've recently moved to the Philippines and in the USA I was being prescribed Clonazepam.  I have a few weeks supply left but honestly I didn't think it would be an issue as much as it seems to be.  Just trying to get a lead on when I run out, but I found out from visiting other clinics that I need to get my medication prescribed by a doctor with an S2 license.  However when you search doctors you don't know which one has an S2 license or not or even if their able to write prescriptions.  So if anyone know of a doctor who has an S2 license in Iloilo are the area near there please let me know.

Thanks,

JK

If you don't find the answer on this forum, I would suggest visiting a pharmacy and ask the Pharmacist for a referral to a Doctor with an S2 license.

@Enzyte Bob I have tried this but the doctor I was referred to did not have an S2 license.

@Enzyte Bob also from another doctor I was referred to go to a hospital emergency room as they would surely have an S2 licensed physician there.  However there was not one even at the hospital.

@keiths121 I had a doctor ar Silliman University hospital that had S2 and wrote me a prescription with it. She was not sure if she was going to renew it in the future as she was retiring. I suspect that you will more likely find a doctor with S2 at a teaching hospital like Silliman. You mention that no doctor in an entire hospital had S2 meaning that all surgeries would be performed without narcotic anesthesia. I would not be quick to believe that. Clonazapam may not even be on the formulary here. My wife used it as an occaisional sleep aid here but the doctor with S2 would not prescibe it as her US doctor did. So, when the US presctiption expired, she threw the remaing pills away and now uses supplements as sleep aids.

The person is lying to find a way to obtain these medications without a prescription.

@Enzyte Bob That is possible, i never bought some. A lot of the medication here in the west comes from India and China.

There certainly will be fake also. But if you are in need and cant find a doctor, internet is an option.
