After third party processing today directly status is Approval In Principle Letter available what does it mean

Yes, but you must exchange it for a Maltese license before 6 months.

This means that for the moment, you are approved by what you have provided. And what you need to do now is to follow the instructions and then you will get your residence card. I have just got mine days ago.
