Hello everyone

Thank you for your time reading this email.

I found your contact details on the net on Discover.

A member highlighted the requirements to have a degree or higher in education to obtain a work permit.

My previous teacher experience (more than 5 years) granted me direct access to study and obtain a Postgraduate in Education which is formally a higher level of education than a degree. During this time I have also obtained a Cambridge Celta Teacher qualification.

So, my query is if with both :

1. Postgraduate in Education

2. Cambridge Celta teacher certification

Is this acceptable to apply for a work permit sponsored by a local Vietnamese school?

For step 1, I think your employer will submit it for you.

Degrees and certificates:

For native English speakers:

Legalized bachelor degree, or higher;

English teaching certificate (TESOL, CELTA)

For non-native English speaking teachers:

Legalized bachelor degree in English teaching or higher; OR

Legalized bachelor degree, or higher majored in English, and (+) English teaching certificate (TESOL, CELTA); OR

Legalized bachelor degree, or higher, and (+) IELTS, TOEFL certificate, and (+) English teaching certificate (TESOL, CELTA).
