Hi does anybody has been gone through the visitor visa process? I am from pakistan and my finances are quite low now but i have a family in France that can host me for free and that can support me financially.

Is it possible with a letter from the host to be the proof that i will be supported in france

@ELOANA13 Thancks for your awnser with that certificate the ambassy will not ask me the proof of enough revenues right?

A letter from the French family or friend hosting and responsible for you is required in addition to financial sources. I had to do this as an American citizen applying for a long term French tourist visa. My friend in France also had to provide ID and the deed that he owned his apartment and also a utility bill. I am not sure if it is the same for other countries, but just sharing what I had to do. I also had to sign a letter promising that I would not seek employment in France. You also need private medical insurance coverage.
