Though it is nice to make sure such bases are covered, Your Visa does not necessarily have any regard for the work you do online.

I'm an Australian citizen and have just renewed my visa for another six months. I live in Ormoc. I am considering teaching English as a second language online. If I get paid is this allowed? Will it affect my visa?

Over time the question of working while in the Philippines has come up. Teaching English on various posts has come up. There are approximately 600,000 Americans in the Philippines and approximately 14 million Filipinos speak discernible English.

There is a tremendous pool of possible English teachers with some on this Forum suggesting this is a viable pursuit?
