@Richard Parent Many people wished to retire in Thailand for the following reasons: 1. inexpensive cost of living, 2. warm climate, 3. beautiful scenery.


I'd suggest you stay in Chiang Mai. This place is popular and a perfect choice for those looking for a calm environment to retire to.
