PASSPORT VALIDITY AND VISIT VISA EXTENSION

Rafeek K

Hello every one,

My family in Saudi Arabia on multiple entry visit visa plans to extend their visit visa by visiting Bahrain and returning through King Fahad causeway on june 2. But, at that time there will be only less than 2 months remaining to expire the passports  of my two minor children . Does this create any legal issue for them to travel to Bahrain and return?

Expecting reply

@Rafeek K

For any international travel  valid passport of 6 months required which is a legal obligation.

Decide yourself either to renew or proceed with 2 months validity which can be objected.

If you are entering Saudi Arabia, your passport must be valid for at least six months from the date of your arrival...

I don't think it will be a problem that your minors' passports will expire after two months, but still, you'd better contact AlJawzat on Twitter for clarification...
