lawyer needed

Hong_Kong_John

Does anyone know a lawyer that can help with represent me in a case against an insurance company? I have contacted many German and English-speaking lawyers and I can't even get a reply. This involves a case against a household goods insurance policy.

I would appreciate any recommendations or suggestions.

Here is a searchable list of all practising lawyers in Germany, published by their trade association:

A lawyer can choose whom they want to represent and in which cases. If they don't respond, it probably means No. Since lawyers are paid at fixed rates tied to the amount in dispute, low value cases requiring much effort are unattractive. If yours is worth less than a thousand Euros, it will be a challenge to find a lawyer taking it on.

For disputes with insurances, there is a compulsory mediation body, which you should try instead:

@beppi Thank you. This makes sense to what I'm experiencing. I did finally secure a lawyer.

Cheers,
