French schools in London

Post new topic

Hi there,

I'm a Spanish national returning to live in London with my French husband and twin girls in the next couple of months. We have made a shortlist of the French schools we're considering for our daughters, however, it would be very useful to receive direct feedback from anyone whose children currently go there, or who have sent children there in the past.

The schools are:

Ecole Française Jacques Prevert (Brook Green)

L'Ecole de Battersea (Battersea)

Lycée Français Wix (Clapham)

Lycée Français Marie D'Orliac (Fulham)

Collège Français Bilingue de Londres (Camden)

I'd be grateful for any feedback anyone might have on any of these establishments.

Many thanks

Hello Soraya,

Welcome to Expat.com !

I hope members can guide you soon. Have you planned some on site visits and meetings with management to know a bit more about the schools and environment ?

All the best

Hi and welcome to the Forum.

I've never used any of the schools which you are asking about.  However, the Google Maps review service has details that may help you.  The Brook Green and Camden schools have some very good reviews.

So, how to use it?  Open Google Maps, C&P the names of the school you are looking for into the search window, press enter and you'll get the school come up on the main screen, to the left will be a Review Tab, if you select that, you can read all the reviews that others have made of the school.

I hope this helps and I wish you the best of luck in your Expat journey.

@Cynic Thanks for the advice. I have already checked all the information available online (research is something I do as part of my job). It was really just an attempt to reach out to anyone who might have direct experience of the schools listed. La recherche continue 1f60a.svg!

@Bhavna Hi Bhavna, thanks. I have already set up meetings with the schools ahead of my trip to London at the end of the month. Thanks for taking the time to help.
