Viewing AFL games

Ive just moved to Lamphun 30 minute drive south of Chiang mai. I would really appreciate suggestions of places l might go to watch Afl games.

You didn't think about google? I googled "aussie bars Chiang Mai" and some bars showed up mentioning sports.

Have you considered using a VPN (Virtual Private Network)? A VPN is basically an internet server that you connect to prior to getting on the internet, and forwards or relays all of your data. It provides additional security because it hides your IP address and location - and makes it appear that your data is coming from wherever your VPN server is located.


This is great for security, but it also can allow you to watch/stream some content from abroad. For example, if you connect to a VPN server in New York, you can use an internet subscription service like ESPN+ to watch American sports games. ESPN+ would normally block IPs originating from outside the country, but a VPN makes it appear as though you’re in New York. VPNs do add to your lag/latency, so it may not work as well as you’d expect.


There are several free ones, and some faster subscription services. I recommend trying the free ines first to see if they meet your needs,
