Long Term Residency in Romania

It doesn't hurt to call, but my experience is that in the USA when they say 6 months it means "Up to six months, but probably sooner." In România my immigration  experience is "We said six months and we mean it." But, again, it won't hurt to call.

Did you apply for your long term residence in that site: https://portaligi.mai.gov.ro/ ?

Trust me nobody will call you, you have to create a profile in that site i have done the same and i have an appointment on Thursday in the immigration office, you will get your answer from that portal

i got my answer from that portal in one month

In my experience, (quite a while ago)....the 6 months was 6 months, like to the day.  IGI were quite particular about it.  Also, it can be extended by 90 days if there are processing delays. 

I would not expect it to be ready sooner.

Should I receive a response letter via post or everything is communicated through the local general inspectorate in my area?
