@Julien

Hello,

We're thinking of moving to Auckland.

I have a daughter who is 15 years old and will be going to a French lycée. I would like to know what the equivalence is in New Zealand and which school he should go to. If you have the names of any schools, I'd love to hear from you. My son is doing a preparatory course for an engineering school, so two years after the baccalaureate at home, so I'd also like to know if he can get into a third-year engineering school in New Zealand. I would also like to know the nicest areas to live in. Thank you very much for your help

To be brutally honest you will find nothing to rent for $500 a month. More like $500 a week may get you something very basic. Auckland is a very expensive place to live. Wages are low too.

You are better to search for a job before coming over. That way your prospective employer is responsible for costs incurred in getting you a visa and permits.

You will need verifiable qualifications and work experience.

You could consider a working holiday visa.
