SSA 7162 question

I think the SSA 7162 is only for when you have a status change (Permanent residency, marriage, or dependent children.).  If there is no change, no form is needed.

I think it is due every year but I'll not sure. That's why I am writing.

@Good_Man IIRC, they are sent to the address the SSA has for you about June, but if not returned, a second one is sent about September. If neither are returned, your February payment will be the first one you won't get until you DO return the form.

Perhaps the VNPT has failed you.   That would not be unheard of.   Can't you just download the online pdf version and fill it in yourself?   Sorry I can't give you a clean link because my computer dumps it into Acrobat Reader and modifies the URL, but you can easily Google the form.
