Hi All,

Can anyone help me I am from India and planning to bring my family on permanent visa, unfortunately my graduation certificate not attested yet and I am planning to go for apostille attestation due to short of time. Hence please help me on the below mentioned queries.

Does apostille attestation accepted at Istaqadam office for family visa

After getting the visa from Istaqdam what's the next process (India)

Your quick responses will be highly appreciated.

dilchandr

@Richard Bhalerao Yes,  apostille attestation is accepted at Istaqadam office for family visa.

You may need to send the original documents to India to process the visa from Saudi visa center in India.

@dilchandr  Thank you so much for the information.

The official website of Isteqdam still says Attestation from Saudi Embassy & MOFA in India. Not sure whether the accept apostille.

Collect all these docs;

  1. Isteqdam form - duly filled in Arabic and Chambered & stamp from your company.
  2. Salary certificate - chambered
  3. Degree cert- attested and Arabic translation
  4. Kids- birth cert - attested and Arabic translation
  5. Marriage cert- - attested and arabic translation
  6. Your Iqama copy
  7. Your VISA copy
  8. Your passport copy
  9. Your family passport copy
  10. SCE registration certificate

Note: Plan accordingly and book Isteqdam appointment as there is waiting for 45 days.

If you have engineering Visa, directly go to Absher and apply online

@Richard Bhalerao I did it recently and came with the family 2 weeks back so I can help.

  1. First, you should have Iqama. If not, please get your Iqama done. Once you have your Iqama, they don't need the education document verification for yours. They just need an Arabic-translated copy (within Saudi Arabia) which is already attested by the Embassy in India.
  2. Apart from this, get all your family documents apostille in India - Marriage certificate and Kid's birth certificate. Give it to some agent and they will get it done for you.
  3. Once these apostille documents are there, come here and book an appointment in MOFA and get it attested. Take a Local Arabic-translated copy with you. They don't entertain Arabic translation from agencies outside Saudi. Include your education document and family documents.
  4. Then book the appointment in Istiqdam. They will give a yellow slip. Now on the yellow slip, you have the reference number for each family number. Make sure all the information is correct (there we so many people for correction requirements when I went to Istiqdam).
  5. Now take this yellow slip or send it to India for medical of wife and kids.
  6. Once medical is done, follow the process for a Family visa. - Documents required are medical which will be uploaded by the center, the Passport of the family, your Iqama copy, Your passport copy, and the Yellow slip. Check the latest ones with the Agent/VFS website. Different at each center - Delhi/Mumbai.
  7. You will get an e-Visa or a passport stamp based on the latest rule. I got an eVisa. No stamp.
  8. Book the ticket only after you receive the passport and validate that all the details are correct.
  9. Once the family is here, Ask your employer to share a form for the Iqama process. The employers also have to add your family member to the Insurance.
  10. Fill out the form (in Arabic), and send it to the company for their stamping. They will share back the stamped copy.
  11. In parallel, do their medical test here as well. The report will be sent by Clinic to Ministry.
  12. Pay the dependent fee.
  13. Upload a Scan Copy of the Dependent Passport Including the Visa Page, Sponsor Iqama Copy, Dependent Photograph, and Stamped Application given by SNS at Absher for Approval - Tawasul.
  14. Once It is approved in Absher, you will get an SMS. Download the Iqama.

The process is very fluid as of now and not sure if it is done via VFS or if we can still apply directly via agent. Mine happened while it was under transition and was very confusing but still happened via the agent. Follow these Youtube channels. They try to provide the latest updates:

@Vinay Gadiya Thank you so much for the valueable information.

@Richard Bhalerao: I have the same doubt. My degree is Apostile Attested but Saudi Culture is not done for it and since it is taking 3 months, I was just thinking if I can avoid Saudi Culture. Were you able to bring your family with the help of only Apostile Attestation or you had to do the Saudi Culture as well? Response would be helpful.

Richard Bhalerao

@Mohammed Saqib Shaikh

The apostle attestation is enough to get the yellow slip.

Make sure the marriage certificate attested by Saudi Consulate

Once your documents are ready

1 Arabic  translation of your marriage and degree certificate

2 GOSI certificate of yours you can download it from gosi site

3 Employer letter with chamber attestation

4 Iqama copy of yours

5 family Passport copy

shadabminhaj26

@Richard Bhalerao for marriage certificate we can make apostille that enough or not.

@Richard Bhalerao Dear, I'm from India and I'd love to hear how'd the process go for you, as  I'm recently in the same dilema as that of you few months back. So I have a few concerns on my plate, like, would you be so kind to share so insights on weather I woud need to have Saudi culture and embassy varification and stamps on my degree for Family visa or is the recently introduced Apostille enough. Secondaly,  the marriage certificate needs to be attested by Saudi Embassy or just the Apostille would do?

sadiqueshaikh029

Any one know what is the process for convert visit visa to Iqama of Saudi Arabia what document should submit

Edgar II

@imperialgem111 Apostille and Translation is enough

Edgar II

@sadiqueshaikh029 you cannot convert. you have to apply first for yellow slip then they need to go back to home country to apply for resident visa.
