WeChat account is blocked

Post new topic

Eifk

Hello everyone.

I'm planning to travel to Shenzhen to find a job and learn Chinese there. While searching for information on topics that interest me (mostly technical), I came across a really good website with lots of documents on Baidu (share.iask.sina.com.cn), but I can't download them because my WeChat account is blocked.

If someone could lend me a hand, I would be extremely grateful.

Best regards,

Eifk

It’s because of inactivity. Not because ilegal issues. 1f605.svg

@Eifk you can simple use another phone number to register a new wechat account

Eifk

I’ve tried with the work phone but it was necessary to verify with another user ass well.

I finally find out a random telegram group of China and chat with some people. One of them explained me that there is a huge responsibility. If he help me and I do something illegal, he could have problems. So he helped me to find the documents I need.

Thanks for answering ☺️

@nnrising Yes ! but good bye the wall, the contacts and so on. I'm not sure this easy solution is a way...   My own account is blocked until 13th july, because I got a new Chinese phone number, and this violates the rules... when rules are nonsense, better to stop them :-(

@Eifk i have also problem with my Weibo, China is turning north Korea :-(

CaliRay

Can someone explain what I need to do to open and verify a WeChat account. I've installed the app and that's as far as I've gotten.

Thank you

@Eifk to find a job, linkedin can help you : if located in China mainland, linkedin.com is redirected to the Chinese version with many jobs offers :-)

Concerning wechat, good luck !  :-(  I fear they do not want foreigners to get it, was unable to recover it...

sergefaure

@CaliRay are you in China ?

sergefaure

Hello :-)   is there anyone knowing a link from China to get an old version of wechat working on android 5.0  ?

I downloaded a few from weixin.qq.com  but no one was working, and my old oppo phone tells me to go to playstore...  of course this doesn't work... :-(

Regarding the website you mentioned, I'm familiar with such challenges involving Baidu and WeChat. Just reg a new account and pay a bit premium for the VIP account then you will be able to unlock most of the Baidu docs.

sergefaure

I am back to Vietnam, wechat and weibo still blocked...

But it is mandatory to use wechat apk given by wechat ( this is one of the reasons to block it ), and fortunately, it is working on android 5.0  :-)

@Kaitlinkoch4534 Actually my wechat is still blocked. They tried to help me :  " Date:2023/10/27 13:02

After the appeal is successful, you can reset your account password. If the appeal fails, please feel free to contact us and provide the retrieval number and screenshots of the failed appeal page for further investigation. Wechat ! I want to recover all contacts for whom i DO NOT HAVE phone number or emails.

Then i try to connect via my qq email and there is no "Request WeChat Account Recovery" at the bottom of the WeChat login page !  just two buttons "Mot de passe oublié "  and " Plus "'.  Plus opens a pop up with " Security center ", " Help center "  and " cancel ".   See screenshots attached.

Thank you to privide me a working help way.
