As my non lucrative visa was denied due to the Drink drive conviction 11 years ago I have decided to enroll in a one year language course and apply for a student visa.
Does anyone know for certain if I will or will not be allowed a one year student visa? It will be an online application through the lawyer employed by the language school

What country are you coming from? Canada will give pardons to DUI office after 7 years. In the UK, you'll need help to expunge your criminal record and the USA, a DUI can be removed after 10 years. All take a process which might or might not help you if you're in a hurry. Please note that the above are through Google.
