You're on a visa exempt until next month,I guess. To be able to apply for a B-visa you need a work permit. Normally you're supposed to this abroad.

@Leeds forever! Yes.. but if I decide to open a small private school with my Thai partner..would this apply as well?

You still need a work permit to be able to apply for the Non-immigrant B visa.

@Leeds forever! I understand so to get the work permit how can I do since as I read ...you need the documents from the company you will work for which is not my case here.

What do you mean by "a small private school"?

Google "how to open a school in thailand?". It's not the easiest task ever.

@Leeds forever! A school can be in your house that's what I mean by small. Actually for the young primary students in a village. It doesn't have to be a big size structure...so yes I will do some more research. Thanks

Even if its small and if we're talking about an official school, there are licenses that have to be applied for. Can a foreigner officially even open a school in Thailand? Maybe it will work if it's in your partners name. I don't have a clue,to be honest. And as a teacher you need a degree,in some cases as a foreigner,a bachelor degree. Have you really thought this through?
