I am thinking about moving to Abu Dhabi

Post new topic

Hi all,

I am thinking about moving to Abu Dhabi in the next 1 - 2 years and just want to get an understanding as to what it would be like and what I should be aware of. My family and 1 are from London. I have my wife and 2 kids aged 4 and 2. I work as a lawyer in the UK advising government and ideally looking for legal opportunities in UAE.

Be good to understand what cost of living is like? where is best to look for properties to rent and where to look for jobs.

If anyone has any knowledge or experience of the legal sector that would be great also.

My brother in law and his family moved 6 months ago and live in Dubai. Our intention for wanting to go to Abu Dhabi was that it doesnt seem as crazy busy as Dubai and we have a friend who has recently moved there.

Any advice or useful links would be grately appreciated.

Many thanks

Kam
