Hi everyone, my family and I are planning to move to Guadeloupe this year. My wife is Guadeloupienne but, rather than pester her with all my questions (and possibly threaten the process of moving entirely), I thought I'd start here
I'm interested in what things (food, mostly) are more - or much more - expensive than in France. About five years ago, for example, we needed nappies for our newborn and they seemed significantly more expensive than in Nantes. I'm guessing that 'brand' stuff is more expensive. Is local produce cheaper and are there markets to go to for local produce? We're looking to move to Lamentin. Hope you can help. Thanks for reading.
