Living in Turks

Post new topic

I am hoping to make a move to Turks and what I'm hoping to find out about is the social activities. I'm from Trinidad and have travelled alot and lived in other places and I would like to hear about the range of life there, cultural experiences, sporting, social events night life. Is Turks large enough to not be socialising with the same crowd all the time?

It all depends on which island you are relocating to. If you are moving to Providenciales, then you will find more social activities available there. There is also a good amount of Trinidadians living on that island as well. As for the other islands, there is not much of a nightlife. There may be events taking place every now and then but not as often as in Providenciales. Providenciales is also a lot more established infrastructure-wise and is kind of similar to Tobago minus the mall and cinema. I hope this helps. I am also from Trinidad by the way and I currently live in Grand Turks.

Thanks so much Blake! Hopefully things happen sooner rather than later, like early next year!
