Is degree verification required?

Hetti1997

@evelinm91, my one also apples 2nd nov 2023, same here still pending. my employer informed no updates from MOM.

evelinm91

@Rajesh Sharma1

Yes you need to go for educational verification agencies to do verification.

evelinm91

@Hetti1997

Lets pray for positive results🙏

AR2022

@evelinm91 I have Applied on 28 OCT and still waiting. Got an update from MOM requesting for additional documents from company. Hope this clears out soon, fingers crossed on New EP process

Note: Everyone has to go through the university/education document verification via MOM appointed agencies before anyone applies for New EP or EP Renewals from Sept 2023.

Employer would initiate this or if you have done it already via MOM listed agencies, then it would stand valid

AR2022

@Rajesh Sharma1 If your question is about the Masters Degree and bachelor Degree both are required, then  I see HR's  advised to declare only he the Qualifications we like to show the MOM.

In My case, I have declared only masters and got Only Masters Verified from the MOM appointed Agency.

beppi

@AR2022 It is NOT a good idea to partially declare some of your certificates and not all!

The reason is that MoM compares submitted data with previous applications - and might reject if it seems inconsistent. So, if you don't declare one certificate you hold in an application, you cannot mention it in any of the subsequent ones. And if MoM finds out by other sources, they can revoke your already issued work pass for incorrect data given. It is better to be truthful and mention all you have!

Rajesh Sharma1

Can you anyone reconfirm if we verified  highest  qualification only.

evelinm91

@AR2022

Good luck for your results! I am also waiting!

AR2022

@Hetti1997 Do you or anyone know if every firm is taking time for new EP Approvals ?

Mine is pending since 28 OCT and waiting for further updates.

My Ep is rejected today after 6 weeks of waiting1f625.svg

Kiwibird13!

@evelinm91 what reason did they give?

Twain2023

@evelinm91 mine is also got rejected ,

What is the reason for the rejection ? you can request your employer to check with MOM

If you are lucky you may get the reason and remove the reason and ask your employer to appeal

Hope everything will be fine

evelinm91

@Twain2023

There is no reason provided my employer said.

My employer will submit appeal tomorrow.

I have no hope really.1f625.svg

evelinm91

mdadil24

hi can i check how long it will take after submitting the verification of my certificate to MOM?sumbitted on January 11 still pending

Ann

@beppi hello just a question? if the application got rejected twice, 1st reason of rejection is salary declared, 2nd reason is documents insufficient.

is thier any possibilty that you can still enter and pass immagration counter of singapore of you scan your passport.?

Twain2023

@evelinm91

Congrats

Regarding your appeal after the initial rejection , I can see the long time

Since the MOM did not give any reason for the rejection, How did you/company manage to find and resolve

Appreciate if you can share any insight information

beppi

@Ann Rejection of a work pass apllication has no influence on visitor visa issuance.

Ann

@beppi is it same to all epass spass applicant who was later on rejected?

beppi

@Ann Yes. The only exeption is if the work pass rejection reason also causes a visitor visa rejection. So, why was yours rejected?

Ann

@beppi I got rejected twice, 1st reason of rejection is salary declared not match to experi, 2nd reason is documents insufficient then after that we stop the appeal anymore because were afraid that we might get the same result again.

so even i was rejected twice i can still enter singapore the 3rd time as visitor? even i have a records of rejection already from the mom?

beppi

@Ann I don't think those rejection reasons affect the issuance of a visitor visa - but to be sure, you would have to contact ICA.

@beppi

Hi, I have a question regarding my EP application. Company applied for me but it took 2 weeks  after submission date for the status in MOM portal to change to pending from no records found. My question is whether that was just a delay in EPOL portal or whether MOM really received the submission after 2 weeks? Since it has been 4 weeks since my company's submission date.

@zerow

As based from my recent application. My employer applied / submit my application last monday (Aug 12). I checked at the same day in the portal but no record found. I checked again in the morning (Aug 13) and status turned to "Pending".

So, the 2 weeks of your application to reflect in the portal is quite long. I just shared my experience as reference based from the recent application.

beppi

@zerow How can I know this? It could be either. In any case, processing only starts after the application is in the system.

Avinash_Jha

@zerow i am 4 fresh EP and 2 renewed EP applicant. each time it took only nezt day for the status to show as Pending. if you were seeing No Record Found that means your employer never submitted the application.

maybe they were waiting for 14 days mandatory job posting requirement to be over.
