  Γεια σας!  If you are a remote professional seeking more connection with neighbors and with the land, you may love our project.  We are "Greek Village Cohousing."  Cohousing is a design movement started in Denmark, and it is all about community--connecting more with your neighbors and the land.  The community comes together in advance and creates the village together.  In addition to our private homes, we will have a Common House with a fantastic coworking suite for remote professionals, and we will also cook and eat together weekly in our Common House.  We meet regularly on Zoom to design the village together. My name is Karin. I am a native Dutch and I grew up on one of the small islands in the North of the Netherlands.

Since 2008 I lived in several European countries and also in Morocco. I learned that, although I liked the many places where I have lived, I feel at my best near the sea.

The smell of seawater, the sound of the waves, and the enormous power of the water (and not only in bad weather) is a true power of nature which I respect and love to be around.

The country I feel most at home is Greece. After living in Athens (2016) and Thessaloniki (2020) I will return to Greece in January 2025.

Some of my hobbies are:

Culture, History, Food, Hiking/Walking, Fitness, Learning, Reading, etc.

I am learning the Greek language, at the moment via an app. But hopefully in the future with some new acquaintances and friends in real life.
