can i enter turkey with work visa even if i have a 3 month ban

Post new topic

BeeZiq

at the Airport, the visa officer told me that I had to pay the fee he told me that I will get a 3-month band from entering Turkey because I violated the visa terms,

but since I work there and my work permission is finished I had a 10 days to leave Turkey, within the 10 days I left and I told the officer about that he said that "we don't care about that" you must have a paper that shows that, im not shocked actually because everyone there has lack of information and they told you do not need a paper all you need is to leave and show him the message you got in your phone with the application number (Goc idarese officer) but he said that I can re-enter turkey within the 3 months if I have a work visa and im not sure if what he saying is right, I want to ask about this information because in these few days im will apply for a work visa and im afraid if I should go to turkey with-in these 3 months or no, thank you

Hi BeeZiq,

If you are currently in your country, I would suggest you still try to apply for your work visa, and at the same time you go to the Turkish embassy in your country to ask and clarify about the matter. You may need to apply for a tourist visa from the Turkish embassy (due to the ban) to re-enter if your work visa gets rejected. I also got banned and serving the notice period, and waiting to go back to Turkey. I had the same questions as you, but i dont have a work visa from the start, and I asked the Turkish embassy about my doubts. I hope this helps.

I am very simple if you break any rule you should be punished, full stop. If you do things with the rules all should be fine. No sympathy from me.

I had similar problems, you better take care about documentation personally, taking care of all details.

If you have any issue call a Turkish Lawyer, in the airport you are not a friend. Not ok? you are out from 3 months.

All my sympathy.

You had a work permit that expired on, e.g., December 30, 2023. You believed that you had 10 days to leave the country until January 10, 2024. Earned yourself a C102 due to leaving on an expired permit and received a 90-day ban. Do you intend to return to Turkey with a new work visa? Have you obtained a new work visa for a new employer?

It's important to note that once your work permit has expired, you must leave the country immediately. The 10-day grace period is actually for applying for another permit category. If you overstay even by one day, you will be in violation and may receive a 90-day ban, "C102".

For example, if your work permit expires on January 30, you must leave the country on the same day. However, you have the option to apply for a short-term Residence Permit within 10 days. It's important to note that your "first-time applicant" application may still be rejected, even with recent changes to regulations.

If you wanted to, you could have switched to a different employer as well if they're workable.

It appears that you have violated the rules and received a C102 restriction. This restriction must be lifted from your passport before returning to Turkey. Sometimes, the Work Visa takes precedence over the most restrictive codes. The embassy will guide you through applying for a work visa.

It is important to note that a work visa only allows you to enter Turkey, while a work permit allows you to legally work and reside in Turkey. Work permit applications can still be rejected even when a work visa is approved.

It doesnt matter how long entry ban you have. You can enter  In case work permit or any other kind of visa application approved. But if you havent paid the visa violation penalty you need pay at the Turkih Airport after arrival

Entry ban results in serious problems about residence and work permit under the Turkish legal framework. Any infringement of terms and conditions for legal entry into or exit from Turkey is a direct reason of entry ban to Turkey. I should strongly suggest no try to enter into country during the entry ban period. But you have a right to bring an administrative litigation against the entry ban decision. @t4danismanlik can you please be specific on the visa types we can apply to come back

@BeeZiq I had a similar situation, I was banned for overstaying my visa.  No work visa though. The officer at the airport told me I can get the ban removed at the Turkish Embassy in my country. That was not true! I unnecessarily wasted my time and money.  Bottom line, you’ve got to abide by the rules! I was able to get my visa and return, only after the ban period was over! I believe the rules of immigration comes before all other types of visa.

Pls I have a valid work permit but some days ago my employer sent me an email that my contract with them have been terminated, this is because I have been out of Turkey for over 6months, even though my employer allowed me to go because of some family issues that needed attention and I have been working from home for those six months with due permission of my employer. But all of a sudden I received such email from them. Now I plan to go back to Turkey next week but I am not sure if I would be able to enter at the airport since I have spent over 6 months outside Turkey, pls does anyone have any information about such incidence?

actually the problem with turkish people like you is that they are stupid, first try to understand the situation then give us this useless phrase as an answer. in the göş idaresi nobody knows what they are doing everything is random. go educate yourself then speak. we don't ask for your empathy just minimum IQ and two ears and a brain working @cdw057

@cejhnxwklde

Turkey in my view is a very advanced country, the salaries are fine (in my view), but there are many clever Turkish people who can do the job, no need for Working visa (what can you add as a foreigner, just bring money)

@azmarina91

Just play by the rules, what is this about working visa, Turkey needs you or not.

please I have the same situation, can I know more details privately? my old company cancelled my work permit, and I overstayed 20 days. Now I want to apply for a new workpermit, I tried to during the ban period, but my work visa got rejected because my ban was not over. Now I want to apply to a new work permit after the ban is over, and I am doing it again. Do you think I will get the visa this time ? I heard people saying I should only apply after 2 years. Is it true? @azmarina91
