"incentivi" when building a new house

Post new topic

Hi JhonnyPT,

Again, we are very happy to read your professional remarks here in the forum. Good job!

Question: exist a check list where is possible to see, what and how much can be considerate as "incentivi" when you build a new house. I mean what / how much can be returned from the AT or other Institution when you use  ecological planing, materials, renewable energy resourses  etc.

I know that to get this kind of support, all the materials should be bay by official invoices with NIF nr. etc.

I'm waiting for your feedback,

Regards.

Hello,

Please note that I have created a new thread from your post on the Portugal forum since the thread where you initially posted is about weather.

Rest assured, Johnny will be informed that you have a new post.

All the best

Hi Chris,

There are few funding programmes, but you need to submit an application and there are annual funding limits. Some info here (translation required):

https://portalcasamais.pt/cpt_noticias/ … paes_2023/

https://www.portugal.gov.pt/pt/gc23/com … stentaveis

(Links about 2023 programme. In 2024, probably there should be another one like it, but nobody knows at the moment, until there is a new government)

As far as the AT is concerned, there is a tax refund, but only if the renovations are carried out to rental housing.

Hi JhonnyPT,

Thanks fro info's, as usually ... high professional.

Are this funding programmes applicable also for new buildings, i.e. it's better to build a new one as to "renovate 90% " from an existing one?

Regards.
