Car ownership transfer to joint

Hi!

We're thinking of changing our car ownership from my name to joint names. We've already changed the insurance to joint names. I'm hoping that all we need to do is complete the transfer form (TOM9?) and take it to the road transport department with the registration document but had anyone had any experience with this, or any tips?
