Residence permit application

I had submitted a request for a Residence permit and still haven't received any information about appointments to go to the city hall, since I understand I have to register in the city hall within 8 days of my arrival in Belgium and is going to be a week of my arrival here in Antwerp. Also, one of the documents I sent with the form is my residence permit from another EU country which is still valid, but since there are backlogs with residence applications here, maybe by the time I get an appointment to register my arrival in Belgium, my Dutch residence permit will have already expired... will there be any problems with that?

You probably need to share more information for us to understand your situation.

You mention having a residence permit in Netherlands. Is it a permanent EU residency? Do you have a work permit for Belgium? Do you have sponsorship by an employer?
