I have answered this many times.

Bahrain license or indeed any GCC license  (for expats) cannot be converted directly to UAE license.  You just go direct to road test.  If you pass, it's all good otherwise classes etc.   RTA has a rule of matching license to nationality which is silly........this means that to even convert a western license, for example, you need to have a western nationality.  We have had discussions on this many times on the forums.

IDL you can only use till you get your visa stamped.  After that you cannot use it and must get UAE license.
