and then Leave Vietnam for another nearby country, and come back with another 45-day visa exemption, or

You need your passport valid for 6 months after entry.

On a 45 day visa exemption for French citizens, it's possible you'll be asked for proof of onward travel by your airline.

Hello Ymag, and thank you for your first post.

Hias I understand it now it is possible  to get a 45 visa without applying for a visa but how ?

As a French citizen you qualify for the 45 day visa exempt entry. As its name suggest, it is not a visa, but is instead an exemption from requiring a visa, a privilege currently extended to the citizens of some 25 countries. There is no visa application process whatsoever.

  what do they ask ?

Your French passport, with at least 6 months validity beyond your intended final day in Vietnam. The passport must also have 2 blank pages available in it.

Correct.

Simply a French passport (see details above).

thank you        -@Ymag
