Hi all,

What do you think about the means of transportation in Pune ?

Is the network of means of transportation well developed?
What modes of transport are available?

Do you use them?

How much is a fare?

Are they relatively safe?

What is the mean of transportation you use the most in Pune?

Thanks in advance for participating!

Well, I have to say being here from 4 months. The public transportation is really hopeless. There is not much buses and anyway there is no metro. The routes and connectivity is horrible and slow. It would really be difficult to travel solely in buses. There are no English signboards for buses. The best bet for an expat is private taxi or autos. People locally use a bike/moto for transportation, however it takes a lot of skill to master driving in pune.
