Clearance of unpaid bank loan in Saudi Arabia

Post new topic

IMRAHM

In year 2020, I availed personal loan from SABB in Riyadh Saudi Arabia.

In the year 2021, I came to India on my vacation with my family on exit re entry visa. I could not get back due to COVID travel restrictions and effect of COVID on me and my family.

I contacted the bank via mail, call, messages, friends visited the bank to clear my pending loan with my end of service benefits but the bank always insisted that I come personally to the bank.

I tried till I had my iqama and visa valid but did not succeed.

Few months later, I got mails and calls from debt collection agency named BILKISH in india to clear the loan. Well me being jobless, I ignored the calls and texts.

Now I find an employment opportunity in Saudi Arabia. Before travelling, I planned to clear my debt for which I tried to contact the bank and loan collection department in Saudi Arabia but haven't been successful yet.

The loan collection agency in India has offered me with discount for repayment of debt and attaining clearance certificate/NOC from bank.

1. I'm not sure if the debt collection agency BILKISH is authentic. Please advise if I make use of this source to clear the loan.

2. In case it is not advisable to go through them, and if I don't get in contact of the bank through any source, and if the company I'm seeking job in Riyadh give me a deadline for reporting, can I travel to KSA and clear the loan at emigration?

3. Would I be deported back to India from emigration or be detained while I clear the loan and then allowed to enter the Kingdom?

Appreciate response.
