Vacation to UAE

Post new topic

Hi Everyone!

I'm a Filipino expat in Bahrain and I'm planning to go to UAE for two weeks vacation only. I will stay at my friend's place.

I would like to ask if the immigration (both Bahrain and UAE) is strict for tourist like they will ask for tour itinerary or hotel booking so I can arrange for them before I go to UAE.

Do I have to apply for visa in advance? Or visa on arrival is already effective in UAE for Filipino expats based in Bahrain?

Thanks in advance.

No visa on arrival in uae for gcc expats. On arrival is only on basis of passport, not residency.

You need to apply for a visa in advance. I have never been asked for anything when arriving at UAE (as a visitor) but it's good to have at least an invitation letter or address where you will be staying.  As depending on how you look to them, you may be asked.

Sometimes it takes longer depending on your nationality and any security record.
