25,000 AED per month Abu Dhabi

kkhatri2

I have been offered a job in Abu Dhabi for 25,000 AED a month. This includes the flight there, mobilisation fees, medical insurance and the cost of the visa. I am from the UK and currently earn £46k a year which I pay tax, national insurance and student loans on. Although the move will offer me a higher salary overall, I don’t know about the cost of living out there. I would also have to use that salary to pay for accommodation which I believe is expensive, bills and potentially a car. I should also mention that I don’t have any children’s or a family to support. My main motive for making the move is to save money to buy a home in the UK when I decide to come back. Ideally I would want to save a significant portion of my income (approx. 40%). Is this salary enough to save my goal and live a comfortable life out there.
