Has anyone an idea how much would be the HOA for a 2-bedroom flat in a newly-built complex in Punta Cana ?   Thanks Roland

Hi the HOA fee is normally listed in the contract and is based on the size of your unit Sq meters. Most contracts I've seen have a standard rate of $2.00 US per sq meters but that can change, and you should confirm prior to signing.  Hope that helps

HOA fees will depend on exactly what is offered as well.  Absolutely make sure you understand this before you buy.

Make sure whatever fee they are quoting is written into your contact.  Otherwise they will entice you with a low amount and then hit you with a much higher amount once you receive your keys...

Maintenance fees are determined by the square meters of your unit and the amenities in your complex. Do you have a pool, jacuzzi, gym, social areas, electric generators and or water filtracion system, doorman and staff. All of these amenities are divided among the owners. Every building is different.  We have a 3 bedroom unit with 170 sq meters in Santo Domingo and our HOA is $200 per month. But this fee should be disclosed before closing.
