Bungalows over water

Post new topic

Anyone been to the bungalows over water (sleep over) in Vietnam?  I have been to Phu Quoc but it was more like restaurants.

No bungalow over water for me but this reminded me of when I was in a refugee camp in Thailand after escaping VN. We first were living in a hut that people from our boat built with the money the camp gave us to build our own accommodations. From there we moved little more down hill when friends of my sister was sponsored to go west and then finally one of her other friend got sponsored to go west and we got a shack that sits over the ocean shoreline. Thinking back now, it was filthy but back then, it was one of the better accommodation at that refugee camp. The outhouse which is a makeshift bamboo bridge to the stalls over the ocean isn't that far from our shack over the water. It reminded me of the shacks over the river at the Can Tho floating market.

Sorry to ruin your romantic bungalow over the water question. 1f600.svg
