Exporting a car

Hello,

Looking at cars here and noticed that the prices for new ones are pretty good. But in that case I want to bring it home with me. Has anyone in here tried bringing a car home?

Any info or suggestions on where to start looking for info on that would be great :)

Hello, when you hover your mouse on the OP avatar, you will see he is from Sweden > Cambodia.

He might be referring to Sweden as his home country.

@F@L123, can you please confirm ?

Hello F@L123

If you are a Swede wishing to import a vehicle to Sweden, then the very

first place you should look would be here. (Link, in English)

Vehicle import and verification of origin (for Sweden)

Good luck, and please let the forum know what you decide.

Take the price of the car in Cambodia, add the price for port handling and transportation in container, ask for transportation insurance and add to the car price and the tax to bring the car into your country and last but not least check if your country will let this car in your country according all the safety rules without any changing of blink light, lightening, and all the requests of an europeen country as well as the vehicle registration in the language of your country. Maybe you will buy at the end of the day the same car at a dealer in your country with less problems for some amount of money more. So see the link of F@L123... But anyway good luck!

I’m interested to know the cost to export a car to Australia. The pointers above are good but any recommendations for a company that does this?
