Hi all, My hubby and I are moving to Singapore from the States.  We lived there for a year back in 2010 and loved it, having moved from Hong Kong. We loved HK too mind you. I'm originally from the UK and hubby is American. He's a pilot and FINALLY after nearly a decade of trying, we are moving back to Asia.  Singapore was a lot of fun, even though we lived way out in Simei.  His job is a good one, so we will be looking for a landed property a little closer to an MRT station and my has that grown!!!  I do have a question. I will be relocating my three cats with me and they are all indoor/outdoor. Hence the landed house.  I will still "Cat proof" and yard or outdoor space we have to keep them in the garden, but I was wondering, is it just the public housing that cannot have cats?

Also, Hi.....I'm Shelley, Hubby is Paul and we will be back in Singapore beginning of July, all being well. Hello to all the expats out there,

You can have cat in condo and landed property.

So, if you mean "HDB" by "public housing" then yes, just the public housing thta cannot have cat.

They are in the discussion to allow cat in HDB, but I have no clue if the Parliament will vote to approve that.

@shelleyavellino Landed houses are rare in tighly packed Singapore. I hope you have a high enough rental budget - min. S$10-15k/month based on your criteria!
