Saudi Arabia High LDL Cholesterol Will I fail Visa HELP

Dunedin.NZ

Hi,

I have accept and offer for work in Saudi Arabia on one of the giga projects. I did my pre-employment medical and my total, LDL and non LDL cholesterol came in high or very high. Will this be a problem? Has anyone failed a medical for it?

I also had very slightly high blood glucose potentially putting me in pre diabetes range.

Wondering what to do and worried I'll fail and not get the job.

Thanks

Michael

If you went through GAMCA, maybe.  But not in the in-country medical in Saudi.

Thank for the response. I don't think I am doing it through GAMCA. I've been living in USA for the last few years and the company is hiring a local visa agent here, my local doctor for the medical and then submitting documents to the Embassy. Does that change anything?

Ideally not but the Embassy can sometimes be finicky even if the medical staff in-country are not.  Try and see.
