Red Light Violation - Need Some Information

Jade2024

Hello Everyone,

I live in Riyadh with my family. I recently went to the Ikea store located at Eastern Ring Road, Riyadh, and on returning, I took a right turn on the red light as usual. After two days, I received a Muroor SMS about a red-light violation. I immediately disputed it via the Absher application, simply telling them I was taking a right turn and there was no stop sign.

The dispute was rejected. Afterwards, I visited the Muroor office, but they denied me entry without an appointment. So I took an appointment, which happened to be after 20 days. I just wanted to know the mistake I made (if any) so that in the future I could take better precautions.

Now, my question is, shall I pay the amount right away or shall I wait for the appointment date and pay after that? I read somewhere that I need to pay within 15 days (after rejection of the objection). So, I am a little confused.

Thanks,
