its a spore mee with black sauce.

Im afraid that there's no Lor Mee in Viet Nam.
We have another noodle with stew meet,egg,shrimp,peanut,herbs,dry onion with a little sauce.i think it's similar with your Lor Mee:)

eh, can't think of many places selling Singaporean food in Saigon

chanced upon this outlet called "red dot" at the food court in paragon (phu my hung) recently

they sell singaporean food like mee pok, chicken rice, claypot rice and wanton mee

didn't see lor mee though

you may wanna try this one: Room Eighteen 15/5 Le Thanh Ton str. i'm not sure if they have lor mee, but they basically serve chinese food and i find that a lot of them are really s'porean style. i hope they have lor mee too...

"Mee" is "noodles"(Chinese dialect) while "Lor" can be loosely translated as "mixed"; in this case, a gooey mix. The bowl of noodles is buried in a gravy that is a "gooey" mix.
