I am 35y Egyptian have been living and working abroad for the last 13 years as a banker.
I am considering moving back to Egypt in 2/3 years once I reach financial freedom, I don't intend to work but live on my properties rental income.
I have another option to move to Philippines(my wife home country) but I am not sure yet about this considering that I prefer my daughter (6 month old) to be raised in middle East culture.
Want to hear your thoughts, I will appreciate being sincere, since I will show the comments to my wife.
Few additional information about me:
- I make around USD 153 K yearly currently so most of this income will be lost once I resign.
- I have 2 unrented properties in Egypt and one rented in Dubai and one in Philippines.
- I intend to live in Al Gouna or one of red sea cities.
