Can I work as a registered nurse in Vietnam ?

I'm assuming you earned your RN certificate from your home country. If so, then no, you cannot work as an RN without verification of your qualifications.

And must i learn the vietnamese language before i can get employed as a nurse a the hospital in vietnam?

I am Jackie. Trained registered nurse in my country Cameroon. I have a credential evaluations with WES of Canada and Josef Sliney of America. I am also an NCLEX-RN(US license) and the NMC-CBT(UK license) passer. Can I practice in Vietnam as a nurse or do I still need to go through their credential evaluation and sit for their board exams?

Are you fluent in the Vietnamese language (spoken and written)?

If not, you won't be hired (please read this whole thread before asking more questions on this subject 🙏)

As I've mentioned many times, Vietnam has plenty of trained & skilled nurses who are native Vietnamese speakers, so you would never get government hiring approval which is required for legal employment/work permits here.
