King Khaled Eye Hospital Compound

Post new topic

narfsnonsense

Hi All,

So I've read a lot of the info on this site and you all seem like a nice bunch!

I've just been offered a job in King Khaled Eye Hospital and get the impression their compound seems to be a lot stricter than others. Stricter dress code and curfew etc. Anyone have any info on this?

Thanks a mil

Fran

Hi Fran

Welcome to the blog.

King Khalid does have a stricter dress code because there are some saudi staff who live in the compound. Your curfew is 12midnight. This is only for security reasons. But it is a lovely compound. If you need to stay out longer its best you arrange a sleep out at a friends place.

Salman would be able to give you more info on this.

Hope this helps a little.

Alliecat lives in the KKESH Compound too

Hi:  I also will be working at KKESH, very soon.  I also would like to have a conversation about working/living at KKESH.  I've lived in KSA before, from 1998 to 2001.  I lived in Jeddah but also worked in Riyadh for several months.  I have visited KKESH before, and am familiar with the area, but not the compound.  Hope to hear replies from those of you at KKESH.  Thanks.

We used to visit KKESH Compound every wekend in the 80's, 90's, and it was a wonderful place as we knew it. Havent been in there for ages now.

Thanks for the reply, Musicman.  It's not easy to find a whole lot of info on KKESH (google searches, etc.)  We are looking forward to some schwarma, and those little pizzas with the rosemary & thyme.  Can't think of what those are called (?).  Starts with a "z". Cheers!

Thanks for the info. No mates over there yet to stay out late with but hopefully that'll happen! Glad to hear it's a nice place.

If Salman or Alliecat have any more info I'd appreciate it!

Cheers!
