Hi all.. apologies if similar posts are already out there ( search did not return anything )....

..  just  trying to get a feeling /opinions/ experience if anyone has subscribed to a home security type company , ie: Securitas, Verisure ... trying to get a feeling for the type of service that you have received and also approximate price indications... thanks for any input as I need to put something in place over next month for a self standing house , and before calling them to do a quotation, would be good to hear any of yr experience.

Thanks

JohnnyPT

Securitas Direct and Verisure are the same thing. I'm a client of theirs and everything is OK. The monthly price depends on the number of movement detectors you choose, camera, and other issues. You can request a quote in website:

How good and timely was their "response" to incidents?

In case of detection, the control centre calls the house after less than a minute, and the operator asks for the house owner's password. If there is no correct answer, the control centre calls the local police.
