Hi, we are looking for a building contractor who can do some refurbishment works to the common areas of a building in central Lisbon. Any recommendations?

Hi and Welcome.

Unless it's a vast amount of expensive specialist work then probably best to look round the local area and find any who are there working, talk to them, look at the quality of their work in your time not theirs. Generally Builders/trades people do not often respond when contacted via email (etc.) from unknown foreigners and asked to quote - from experience it takes time and money to respond/inspect/write a quote for which they are often not reimbursed when foreigner doesn't give them the work.
